Product Updates: CentrePoint^® Insight Watch 2.0, Platform Enhancements, and Improved Digital Measures

Overview:

In 2018, ActiGraph released the CentrePoint^® Insight Watch (CPIW), a fit-for-purpose wearable designed to collect continuous, real-world physical activity data - passively, comfortably, and easily - without the need for frequent battery charging. In April of this year, we will release v. 2.0 of that product, which includes a scratch resistant glass lens and improved case design. We’ve also enabled recording for the onboard temperature sensor.* We believe that this near-body temperature data could improve the accuracy of wear time detection. They might have potential to improve sleep scoring, but further research is required.
